Providers will be up to date with current information and standards of care as determined by the American Heart Association, Internal Liaison Committee on Resuscitation, and American Academy of Emergency Medicine. This program provides appropriate education for learners to develop and carry out patient management plans of the pediatric patient population
3. Learners will apply the up to date guidelines for PALS and demonstrate better understanding of the pediatric disease processes through assessing and treating pediatric patients using the PALS algorithms
4. learners will develop and perform proper closed –loop communication with other health professionals in a responsive and responsible manner that supports the care of the patient.
5. Providers will participate in different team roles to establish, develop, and continuously enhance interprofessional teams to provide patient- and population centered care that is safe, timely, efficient, effective, and equitable.
