1. Identify strengths, deficiencies, and limits in one's knowledge and expertise
2. Make informed decisions about diagnostic and therapeutic interventions based on patient information and preferences, up-to-date scientific evidence, and clinical judgment
3. Review common and uncommon conditions treated within the scope of family practice
4. Demonstrate appropriate evaluation/examination techniques
5. Apply knowledge to improve patient care

In support of improving patient care, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
