  2. Describe the importance of addressing well-being promotion in relationship to burnout prevention
  3. Identify actionable strategies to support one’s day-to-day professional and personal well-being
  4. Recognize available wellness resources
  5. Review, recognize and learn effective strategies for responding to and preventing suicide within a health care educational setting
  6. Identify prevalent myths regarding suicide that can diminish our efforts to create a culture of organizational well-being
  7. Reflect on next steps we can take at WMed to bring awareness to the risks and signs of suicide in order to effectively support ourselves and those around us
  8. Review, recognize and learn effective strategies for responding to and preventing suicide within a health care educational setting

In support of improving patient care, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
