WMed Faculty Development Series 2026

1. Apply teaching techniques to improve the teaching of medical learners in the classroom and in clinical settings.
2. Assess professional growth techniques for implementation in the future.
3. Determine which skills about leadership and personal advancement are appropriate for current use.
4. Describe how WMed provides support for faculty in their roles as educators, clinicians, researchers, and leaders.

In support of improving patient care, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
