1. To serve as an educational resource for our regional healthcare partners
2. to demonstrate understanding of evidence-based medicine and clinical practice guidelines in pediatric medicine
3. to improve the care of the pediatric patient population in the region by increasing the ability of providers to diagnose and manage patients in all areas and specialties in pediatrics.
4. to increase implementation of evidence-based pediatric treatment protocols to improve pediatric patient outcomes.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and Bronson. Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
