2023 Pediatric Readiness Conference

The Pediatric Readiness Conference will incorporate all aspects of planning for pediatric emergencies. Many healthcare organizations are not prepared to care for critically ill or injured pediatric patients. This conference seeks to provide tools for planning and preparation for hospitals to be able to care for such patients.

1. By the end of the conference 100% of the participants will understand what Pediatric Readiness is.
2. By the end of the conference 80% the participants will understand how to plan for pediatric emergencies.

Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
