Objectives
  1. At the conclusion of the activity, learners will be able to properly screen patients at risk for chronic lung disease
  2. At the conclusion of the activity, attendees will be able to identify communication barriers with chronic respiratory patients
  3. At the conclusion of the activity, attendees will be able to better utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage healthy behaviors
  4. At the conclusion of the activity, attendees will be able to identify and overcome gaps/barriers in continuity of care
  5. At the conclusion of the activity, attendees will be able to implement evidence-based practices in treatment of multiple chronic lung diseases
  6. Discuss subjective barriers from the viewpoint of patients/caregivers
  7. Identify local, state, and national resources for best-practice guidelines and recommendations
  8. Compare and contrast diagnostic information for various chronic lung conditions, improving diagnostic skill
