The Healthcare Credits for Michigan Licensure Conference is an opportunity to earn essential credits and stay ahead in your medical licensure journey. Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, NA

1. Integrate evidence-based practices related to human trafficking, ethics, implicit bias, and pain management into clinical care to enhance patient safety, promote health equity, improve patient outcomes, and support compliance with Michigan licensure requirements.
2. Utilize effective strategies for identifying and responding to potential victims of human trafficking, mitigating implicit bias in clinical encounters, utilizing ethical decision-making frameworks, and implementing individualized pain management approaches.
3. Describe current evidence-based guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to human trafficking, medical ethics, implicit bias, and pain management.

In support of improving patient care, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
