Dr. Larkins-Pettigrew would like to share this short film Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story (run time:25:44) with the attendees of WMed Women's Health Equity Summit ahead of her keynote at the summit. Toxic: A Black Woman’s Story is a short film that illustrates the intersection of Black maternal and infant health and racism. Dr. Larkins-Pettigrew plans to reference some information shared in the short film in her keynote presentation so it will be a helpful foundational resource to attendees.
