Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Borgess Hospital Campus, Kalamazoo, MI

1. Deepen their understanding of psychiatric conditions and new developments in psychiatric treatment.
2. Locate, appraise and assimilate evidence from scientific studies
3. Interpret laboratory data, imaging studies, and other tests required for the area of practice and have an understanding of cost effective care.
4. Critically appraise and apply evidence to guide care tailored to the individual patient.
5. Obtain knowledge in the areas of physician wellness, bias, diversity, racism/anti-racism, equity and inclusion.
6. Continually identify, analyze, and implement new knowledge, guidelines, standards, technologies, products, or services that have been demonstrated to improve outcomes.

In support of improving patient care, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
