Human Trafficking is a concern for health care providers and more common than expected.   Addressing human trafficking requires an unique approach.  Following this activity, participants will be able to approach human trafficking from an evidence-informed perspective.

  1. Explain what human trafficking is and what its impact will have on healthcare
  2. Identify characteristics of a patient who could be potentially trafficked
  3. Know who appropriate authorities are in order to assist a patient who is being trafficked
