Objectives
  1. Define, discuss, and explain the national standards for a death scene investigation.
  2. Perform the basic technical skills that support the national standards for death investigations, including but not limited to, photography, report writing, and interacting with law enforcement, families, and physicians.
  3. Demonstrate the skills needed in advanced scene investigation for investigators with experience and education prior to attending the course.
  4. Demonstrate the skills required to take the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigation registry exam, if the requisite experience has been acquired before attending the course.

Registration

$300 for entire weekend. Includes Breakfast and lunch.

Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
